EXPO ISLANDS, EESC, Brussels, 24th of November, 2015

Dear Sirs, dear colleagues,
The Network of Insular Chambers of the EU, in cooperation with the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) and the support of the Commission of Islands of the CRPM and the European Small Islands Federation (ESIN) is organizing an EXPO on SMART ISLAND, on November 24th, 2015, from 10 am to 6 pm at the EESC premises (room ATRIUM), in Brussels.The exhibition will be attended and visited by the members of the TEN Section Committee of the EESC and other Community Officials, on invitations only, its objective is to show innovative products and services, produced or elaborated in islands.

The exhibition will present:

1. Innovative projects and plans that have been developed in our islands areas e.g in Energy, Transport, ICT and environment, featuring an island as «smart», through a poster or video, or pamphlet.

2. Wines and drinks of our islands, with accompanying products (olives, etc.) offered by the CCI, members of INSULEUR.

From 1 pm to 2.30 pm a cocktail with tasting of wines and beverages will take place.

May I ask you to diffuse this information to your members and Networks and ask them to send us at: [email protected] or [email protected], any video or link, pamphlet or poster (in electronic form, in EN or FR) on innovative projects elaborated and implemented in islands, not later than November 8, 2015?
